Ophiopogon Mondo Dwarf

Dwarf Mondo is a low-growing evergreen mondo grass that slowly spreads by short underground stolons to form a 6-inch clump. The blade-like arching leaves are an attractive dark green and the berries that follow the flowers are bright blue. It is resistant to deer and rabbit damage. Plant in average moist well-drained soil in partial sun. It can be used as a low edger, between stepping stones or a rock garden. It can tolerate some foot traffic so it makes a great lawn alternative for low-traffic areas.
